Introduction

School Experience

Experienced in both state and independent schools, I have taught young people from year 2 up to A level standard. This experience includes both primary and secondary environments. Consequently, I have an excellent understanding of how children of all ages learn both at a theoretical and a practical level. School teaching experience includes Design & Technology, Geography and Outdoor Work.

Education Centres

My experience gained in a school setting gives me a firm background. Using this experience, I continue to teach outside of the school environment in museums. Regularly delivering STEM based workshops for existing clients, I thoroughly enjoy this aspect of my work. Of course, whilst I am happy delivering content provided by the client, I am equally happy developing new content.

Further teaching experience includes devising and delivering curriculum linked workshops for a major charity. I designed these workshops to be fun hands-on experiences designed to promote children’s enjoyment of STEM education. Furthermore, delivery of these workshops took place at various exciting locations around England & Scotland. Up to 200 children attended each event which were extremely well received.
